Thales Protocol ARB rewards distribution
With a successfully voted in STIP Backfunding proposal on Arbitrum Governance, Thales Protocol was awarded a grant of 500,000 ARB tokens to be distributed as incentives to users with a goal to bootstrap the growth of Thales’ Arbitrum deployments!
This grant is meant to be completely distributed to Thales Protocol users until the end of March 2024.

With the first batch of ARB tokens hitting the Thales Treasury, ARB rewards will start bringing Holiday Joy to all Thales Arbitrum users starting from December 27th! 🎄🎁
All Thales Products on Arbitrum will have their own individual reward buckets: Thales Sports Markets, Thales Digital Options and Thales Speed Markets. The rewards will be distributed on a biweekly basis with biweekly pro rata calculations.
The plan is to have a total of 7 reward rounds. The exact amount of rewards per each biweekly round can be changed to be in line with new updates and releases of the Thales Protocol products.
The second batch of rewards will be distributed pro-rata based on cumulative user activity calculated in a span of two weeks — from January 10th 08:00 UTC to January 24th 08:00 UTC.

AMM Liquidity Providing Loss Rebates
Loss Rebates ARB rewards are reserved to be distributed to AMM Liquidity Providers in case of a negative PnL week. Rewards are meant to be equal to 90% of dollar value of potential losses incurred from AMM Liquidity Providing across ThalesAMM, SportsAMM and ParlayAMM.
The first biweekly round of ARB rewards will reserve a hard cap of 10,000 ARB tokens for Loss Rebates equal to 90% of dollar value of potential losses incurred from AMM Liquidity Providing.
Any AMM LP losses incurred within these two rounds will be eligible for ARB rewards from this round.
In case the 90% of dollar value of Liquidity Providing losses for the mentioned two weeks is greater than the dollar value of 10,000 ARB on day of rewards snapshot,, the 10,000 ARB will be split pro rata between all LPs that incurred losses based on their comparison to global PnL losses of their respective pool.
Thales Sports Markets
The second biweekly round will allocate 10,000 ARB of incentives to Thales Sports Markets. These 10,000 ARB will be split in the following way:
Singles Rewards: 5,000 ARB
- Users who buy Singles on Thales SportsAMM will have their Buy Volume counted for this rewards bucket. They will split 5,000 ARB rewards at the end of the two weeks pro rata based on their total Singles Volume compared to the global Singles Volume during that period.
Parlay Rewards: 5,000 ARB
- Users who buy Parlay Tickets on Thales ParlayAMM will have their Buy Volume counted for this rewards bucket. They will split 5,000 ARB rewards at the end of the two weeks pro rata based on their total Parlay Volume compared to the global Parlay Volume during that period.
Thales Digital Options
The first biweekly round will allocate 5,000 ARB of incentives to Thales Digital Options. These 5,000 ARB will be split in the following way:
ITM Rewards: 2,000 ARB
- Users who buy ITM Digital Options (Options that are In-The-Money at the time of purchase) will have their Buy Volume counted for this rewards bucket. They will split 2,000 ARB rewards at the end of the two weeks pro rata based on their total ITM volume they drove compared to global ITM volume during that period.
OTM Rewards: 2,000 ARB
- Users who buy OTM Digital Options (Options that are Out-Of-Money at the time of purchase) will have their Buy Volume counted for this rewards bucket. They will split 2,000 ARB rewards at the end of the two weeks pro rata based on total OTM volume they drove compared to global OTM volume during that period.
Bonus Payout Options Volume: 1,000 ARB
- Users who buy Options with Bonus next to ROI on Thales Digital Options (Options that have Discounts at the time of purchase) will have their Buy Volume counted for this rewards bucket. They will split 1,000 ARB rewards at the end of the two weeks pro rata based on total Bonus Payout volume they drove compared to global OTM volume during that period.
Your Bonus Payout Options Volume is also eligible for ITM or OTM rewards calculations.
Thales Speed Markets
The first biweekly round will allocate 4,000 ARB of incentives to Thales Speed Markets. These 4,000 ARB will be split in the following way:
Single Speed Market rewards: 3,000 ARB
- Users who buy regular single Speed Markets of any duration will have their Buy Volume counted for this rewards bucket. They will split 3,000 ARB rewards at the end of the two weeks pro rata based on their total single Speed Market buy volume they drove compared to global single Speed Markets volume during that period.
Chained Speed Markets rewards: 1,000 ARB
- Users who buy Chained Speed Markets of any round duration or length will have their Buy Volume counted for this rewards bucket. They will split 1,000 ARB rewards at the end of the two weeks pro rata based on total Chained Speed Markets volume they drove compared to global Chained Markets volume during that period.
