NFTs… so hot right now
We’ve been amazed by how much traction and engagement are different NFT projects getting recently.
From OG Cryptopunks to apes, bulls, penguins, and many other creatures that now live in the Metaverse.
It’s amazing to see communities develop around novel ideas, knitting together the beauty of art expressions with the feeling of being part of a bigger movement.
Thales, as you might know, isn’t per see an NFT project, but a decentralized derivatives (binary options) protocol.
But…
This doesn’t stop us from wanting to be part of the fun and give something beautiful to collect to those willing to get in the trenches on Thales dapp and participate in the different markets we offer.
Enter Thales NFTs
We’ve been working with a very talented artist and illustrator that’s particularly close to our heart, as many team members grew up looking at his illustrations and cartoons in books, newspapers, and the media.
The name of the artist is Bob Zivkovic and we are nothing but amazed by how he was able to capture both the essence and so many details on every single illustration we commissioned to him.
Some of Bob’s career highlights include illustrating the cover for the Serbian translations of Lord of the Rings and Stephen King’s “It”.
For these NFTs we gave him some core concepts to work with and he worked his magic, creating very detailed and beautiful pieces that represent different aspects of the Thales platform, and what’s most important, it’s users on the different markets.

Uncovering Thales NFTs one by one: Thales at Olympics
This NFT commemorates the first on-chain Olympics markets (epic feat, right?) and it celebrates all the people who jumped in and participated on these markets.
How to get it?
This one is already gone and it’s been distributed to everyone who took part of any Olympic market on Thales dapp. Those who explored with us, we salute you!
Thales trader
This NFT will be rewarded to participants in our upcoming trading competition 👀 who place themselves in the top 20 in either of the two categories we’ll have available for people to participate in.
How to get it?
Stay tuned to our announcements (it could be either on Discord or following us on Twitter) to participate. We’ll release more info on this in our upcoming community call.
Thales pro trader
This NFT will be rewarded to participants in our upcoming trading competition who place themselves in the top 3 in either of the two categories we’ll have available. Top 3 isn’t an easy feat so this NFT with a total supply of 6 it’s gonna be the scarcest.
How to get it?
Stay tuned to our announcements (it could be either on Discord or Twitter) to participate. We’ll release more info on this in our upcoming community call.
Thales market creator
This NFT is to celebrate those willing to take one leap further and create their own markets on Thales dapp.
How to get it?
We’ll award this NFT to the creators of any market, with a duration of at least a week, that are not Thales core contributors (sorry Dan 😆) during the month of September.

Thales flippening cock 🐔 fight
This NFT is to commemorate an eternal meme-ish fight between BTC adepts and ETH bulls: The marketcap flippening.
How to get it?
We are working tightly with the folks at Chainlink to integrate their new data feeds regarding ETH total marketcap and BTC total marketcap, so as soon as we have this ready to go we’ll create a market regarding the flippening and give this NFT to the top 10 participants (by profit) at market maturity.
Thales ETH burn
This NFT is the last, but not the least, from this initiative.
It represents the incorporation of EIP-1559 which famously started the burn mechanism on the Ethereum network 🔥.
Pro tip: You can follow the burn in real time here.
How to get it?
Once this Thales market is live, we’ll reward this NFT to the top 10 participants by profit at market maturity.
